San Diego Man in Custody on Attempted Kidnapping Charges
A San Diego man accused of attacking an 11 year old girl was taken in custody on attempted kidnapping charges.
Christopher Dean Riley, 51, allegedly tried to abduct the girl as he took hold of the 11 year old girl’s wrists as she was walking home from Zamorano Elementary school located in the 7300 block of Tooma Street and Goode Street with her 13 year old brother around 2:50 p.m., according to San Diego police.
As the two children struggled and wrestled away from the alleged abductor, they ran to their home and told their mother. “I saw this guy. He tried to snatch me. He fist-bumped my brother, then he fist-bumped me, then he grabbed my wrist and tried to pull me,” said Diamonn Graham.
The alleged San Diego kidnapper was later found by police at the Bay Terraces Park Recreation Center where he was arrested on attempted kidnapping charges, battery and molesting or annoying a child. He is being held in jail. Bail is set at 100,000.
