San Diego Stabbing By Former Girlfriend Leaves Man Injured

San Diego police arrested a woman for allegedly stabbing her 48 year-old ex-boyfriend sending him to the hospital with injuries that were considered to be not life threatening, according to police.

The San Diego stabbing happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at a house during an argument. The victim, after being stabbed in the back made his way to the Par Grocery and Liquor on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard where officers were called, said Officer David Stafford of the San Diego Police Department.

The victim whose name has not been released was taken to a local hospital and treated for a knife wound to the back. Shortly after the attack police found the former girlfriend and arrested her.

The 52 year-old woman who was arrested for this San Diego assault was taken into custody and booked into San Diego’s County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
