San Marcos Jewelry Store Robbed

A jewelry store in San Marcos was robbed on Thursday; the thieves are still at large.

The San Marcos robbery happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. at the Jewelry and Repair Center at 311 Pleasant Way when the would be thief inquired about a pair of earrings, according to San Diego sheriff’s Sgt. Robert Jennings.

Soon after, the robber’s two accomplices entered the jewelry store; the first robber took out a handgun and forced a woman patron on to the floor while the other two thieves stole jewelry, diamonds and gold, putting the stolen items into plastic garbage bags

The three robbery suspects who got away were of Hispanic decent. They were said to be in their late twenties or thirties with an average build.

The stolen items that were reported from this San Marcos theft crime were diamonds, gold, jewelry, an undisclosed amount of money, personal checks and a cell phone.
