La Jolla Man Arrested on Attempted Murder Charges in Pacific Beach
A man from La Jolla was arrested on attempted murder charges for the stabbing of a man in Pacific Beach after an argument got out of control.
According to the San Diego Police Department, an argument turned into a violent attack when Agahan Alemdar, 23, allegedly stabbed a man in an apartment complex courtyard on Hornblend Street, on Monday just after 4:00 p.m. It is know known why the argument broke out.
On Tuesday the murder suspect, who is on an immigration hold, turned himself into the San Diego Police where he is being held at the George Bailey Detention Facility without bail.
The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital where he remains in stable condition with serious injuries to his neck.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, another stabbing attack took place in Imperial Beach when the bleeding victim dashed into a CVS pharmacy near Ninth Street, on Palm Avenue, Wednesday just before 11:45 p.m. to receive help. The two attacks were unrelated.
