San Diego Stabbing Leaves Man in Critical Condition
In San Diego a stabbing of a passenger that took place inside a sport utility vehicle on Saturday leaves him in critical condition, said Police.
According to witnesses, the driver of a white SUV allegedly stabbed a 32 year-old passenger who was riding in the backseat of the vehicle when the San Diego assault occured around 11:35 p.m. Friday at 1600 K Street near Petco Park, according to San Diego police Officer Brad Ruff.
The driver of the sport utility vehicle drove away after the victim got out of the car and found his way to the curb.
The wounded man was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery after sustaining a stab wound to the chest and cuts to his left arm. His injuries were not life threatening although he remains in critical condition.
The stabbing suspect and another passenger were later arrested and taken into custody for the violent crime after police spotted his SUV a short time later.
